For a beginning balance training, this is an tool that strengthen also the major muscles of the dog. A balance training helps dogs to be aware of their body, which improves proprioception (the dog becomes more aware of the position of its body in space). This makes the dog feel confident because they can better deal with an unstable and / or changing environment.
The balance pad provides low balance challenges for dogs recovering from injury.
The foam filling is closed cell so that the balance pad is waterproof. Therefore it can be used for underwater training and is it very easy to clean.
You can create varying degrees of balance challenge by stacking two or more balance pads on top of one another or can customize for use with larger dogs by using two balance pads side-by-side.
