Kampuni is a distributor of high-quality products committed to humanity, as its suppliers almost exclusively help vulnerable people in Kenya. They do this partly by providing them with work and partly by organizing health care and education for the children. In addition, all these people receive help with managing their money and opening bank accounts, which is not self-evident in Kenya.

In Kenya, many citizens can neither read nor write and are often exposed to various forms of violence, with many of those they try to help being single mothers. Kampuni also focuses on people with different types of disabilities or disabilities, because they often lead unsafe and impoverished lives without a social safety net or access to healthcare.

Kampuni products are of the highest quality, the result of true craftsmanship and meet the high demands of the Western market. All materials come from Kenya, where a lot is recycled, such as the brass used for buckles and zippers, which is extracted from metal scrap. The linings of the bags are also often made from recycled men's shirts.

The idea for the Kampuni company - 'Kampuni' means 'company' in Swahili - and the idea to import products from Kenya originated in 2011-2012, when the owners visited the country to adopt their first children. When they returned to Kenya a few years later to adopt their second child, the idea had matured.
