This cooling baseball cap uses, as all HyperKewl cooling products, an evaporation technique. The baseball cap will cool your head well ! To activate the cooling product, simply soak it for 2-3 minutes in water and gently remove access water.
The cooling baseball cap is now ready for use and will cool you for 5-10 hours.
It cools by a evaporation technique and can be re-used easily. The cooling product is lightweight, durable and perfect for wearing under an uniform.
The HyperKewl material has been integrated diretly into the panels. The baseball cap has mesh vents for air circulation. Hook and loop size adjustment.
This product can be washed at max. 30 degrees.
Operation
The combination of special fabrics and fibers creates a special water management system: HyperKewl ™. This material absorbs and stores water and then evaporates the water. Energy is used and a cooling effect is created. HyperKewl™ material works the same way our bodies do – through evaporation technology.
How does it work ?
HyperKewl™ products use polymer to quickly absorb water. The chemical reaction creates a long-lasting cooling effect by evaporating the water. Users of the HyperKewl ™ products can expect a cooling effect that is 6 to 9 degrees lower than the ambient temperature. The exact temperature depends on various environmental variables such as humidity, airflow and the like. Please note that very high humidity of more than 90% will greatly reduce the properties of the material and that HyperKewl ™ products will only work if there is sufficient airflow.
How to activate the product ?
To activate a HyperKewl ™ product, it must be submerged in water for 1-2 minutes to allow the material to store the water. Then gently wring the product to remove any excess water. The cooling product is then ready for use and will cool for hours.
